The story begins in the summer of 2018 when God placed David and Jamila together at the same job. It was your typical boy meets girl story. Boy falls in love with girl. Girl rejects boy.

 

David, a collegiate athlete, and life of the party, was pretty smitten with Jamila after their first conversation at work. Jamila, an avid traveler and linguaphile was mainly focused on her studies and exploring the world. So, at the time he asked her out, she was only interested in friendship. Little did they know that God was up to something.

A friendship started to bud between the two as they began spending more time together. Three and a half years later that friendship blossomed into a beautiful love story, where they strengthened and grew together. Along this journey David and Jamila have had their shares of ups and downs but remained committed to each other and found renewed strength through God.
